The Intermediate Chinese course is designed for students, business persons, corporate professionals and all language enthusiasts who wish to do more than just converse in Chinese. The INCCS Intermediate Chinese Language Learning Course™ is design to equip participants with the ability to read, write and speak Chinese language proficiently.
Eligibility
Participants of the Intermediate Level must possess basic Chinese speaking ability. If you do not have any prior Chinese language knowledge, consider taking our Beginner-level Chinese course (Offline-Classroom).
Course Objectives
The Intermediate Chinese course aims to enable participants to obtain information from extended conversation; express and expound on, in relative length, feelings and opinions on any topics; expand vocabulary and learn to decipher meaning of compound words; develop reading comprehension of extended narrative, expository and simple argumentative passages; solve non-complex textual problems with the help of dictionaries and discussion of viewpoints with level-appropriate vocabulary and grammatical accuracy.
Specific objectives of the Intermediate Chinese language course are as under:
- Standard Chinese grammar and sentence structures
- An outline of modern Chinese grammar, etc.
- Build up essential vocabulary ( 2000-3000)
- Listen, speak, read and write passage.
- Intensive & Extensive reading, writing and speaking Chinese, Listening and speaking,
- Read & write about 1500-2000 simplified Chinese characters.
